The University of Chicago Actuarial Initiative (UCAI) is the University’s premier recognized student organization (RSO) dedicated to actuarial science. We are open to undergraduate, graduate students, and alumni. Our mission is to raise on-campus awareness of actuarial science, prepare members for actuarial examinations, connect with other university actuarial clubs, network with relevant firms, and foster a student community committed to developing analytical skill sets.
Begun in 2011, our organization functions as a forum for University of Chicago students aspiring to become actuaries, a source of guidance for our younger members, and a community for the analytically-minded.
